How should spiritual gifts be used?
Spiritual gifts are divine enablements given to each believer for the building up of the body of Christ, the church. Three passages in the NT give lists of these gifts along with gifted people given to the church. The point of the passage, however, is not a focus on the gifts, but a focus upon the diverse body Christ has brought together along with the unity Jesus requires of His church.
We are individually diverse, but we pursue a unity with one another in Christ.
